“I bring together a select group of people working in businesses that embrace reasonable profitability, community engagement, environmental consciousness, and a commitment to social/economic/racial justice who want to connect with other like-minded (and like-hearted) colleagues so that we can continuously improve how we work together, how we take care of ourselves, and how we facilitate meaningful change in the world. We do this through sharing resources, providing empathy and support, and engaging in content and conversations that you won't find anywhere else. The end result is more resiliency, greater balance, and a deeper sense of purpose."
You want your work to be meaningful and fulfilling, AND sometimes it seems like everyone is out of alignment.
You are looking to connect with like-minded (and like-hearted) people who care about balanced effectiveness, optimal workplaces, and societal transformation AND they can be hard to find.
You increasingly realize that everyone needs to be involved to make this world a better place for all, AND it feels overwhelming at times.
You want your professional and personal growth to be a "practice," not a series of one-off webinars, occasional workshops, or a "maybe someday" wish list AND you're ready to join this type of community.
Experience exclusive content and conversations that is dynamically changing every day.
Meet people who are making an ethical living, making a difference in their communities, and somehow finding time for themselves.
Take on some new initiatives, be both supported and challenged by the community, and decide how to move forward at your own pace.
Swap stories, experiences, and ideas (not necessarily advice) around our shared mission.
Find a little inspiration, thought-provoking conversations, and interesting perspectives each and every day.
A community across different sized businesses, industries, locations, and interests.
A diverse set of individuals who want connection and resources for results and resiliency.
A lively, interactive, experiential modality (as opposed to yet another stand-alone Zoom webinar, Facebook group, or YouTube video).
A group of people who believe that business should play a major role in justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion.
A way to increase your professional and personal development over the course of a year with many options and cool colleagues.
A most interesting mix of facts, forums, and fun.

My father took me to his grocery store when I was twelve and put me to work sorting the returnable "pop" bottles (it was in the Midwest). I'm fascinated by what happens when good people come together to achieve results while they are balancing purpose, passion, respect, and resiliency. From a professional perspective I draw from my four careers (woodworker, ski business executive, psychologist, business behavioral change coach) to be of service. I incorporate my deep involvement in music, my love of growing organic veggies, lots of time in nature, and a spiritual practice into my work. For the last twenty years I've been the Founder and Owner of Business Culture Consultants, helping good people in great organizations achieve more success and deeper satisfaction. I also believe that all this serious stuff should also be accompanied by significant amounts of fun. I'm delighted to live Burlington, Vermont with my wonderful wife. I love my job.
